Speed Up Browsing Your Internet on Windows XP and Windows VSTA

QoS (Quality of Service) provided by the windows is intended to ensure network and provide better service and planned with dedicated bandwidth, but in reality it is not very useful, but that certainly can take up to 20% of the bandwidth of your pc. You can try and see the difference when QoS is disabled.

The steps off QoS in Windows XP and Windows Vista (make sure the status of your account as an administrator):
  1. Click Start > Run
  2. Type "gpedit.msc" in the box, Then press enter
  3. In the Local Computer Policy, click the plus sign on the Computer Configuration, then click again on the Administrative Templates.
  4. Click the plus sign on Network and select QoS Packet Scheduler
  5. On the right side of the box, double-click on Limit Reservable Bandwidth
  6. On the Settings tab, select Enabled
  7. In the Bandwidth Limit% box, replace the contents to be 0%. (Don't leave blank)
  8. Click and restart your computer

I have tried this trick but it doesn't help when you have a slow internet connection. It is useful for persons having faster internet connections of over 2 MBPS. Slow internet connection is one of the main reasons why asians can't make enough money online
